what sets us apart
01. responsiveness
When Loly was planning her own wedding (before founding the Little Postage House), she designed her own invitations and worked with a local printer. The printer was a super nice guy, but turned out to be very unresponsive and unreliable. He ended up disappearing several times, for weeks on end. After talking to her friends, Loly realized that this was a common problem in the industry. When she founded the Little Postage House, Loly made a commitment to always be open, online and to make the wedding process a little bit easier and fun! This means that we are always open, online. You can email or message us on social media and, chance are, you are generally going to get a response right away!
02. in-house printing
We are obsessed with the details and proudly admit that we are control-freaks, so we print all of our invitations in our studio. This sets us apart from the majority of other stationers who outsource their printing to third-parties, sometimes abroad. In fact, it is rare to work with a stationery company that only designs the work, but that also print it.
Why do we print in-house? Well, it gives us absolute control over the details and ensures that our invitations meet our high standards. It also always us to send your pictures throughout the process, so that you can see everything real-time as it is being made in our studio.
To see behind the scenes, just follow us onInstagram.
03. mailing expertise

So, you don't have to worry about making sure that you have the right postage amount or looking for postage! You don't have to worry about the differences between "hand-cancelling," "hand sorting" or "non-machinable" services at USPS. We have sent tens of thousands of invitations over the years. P R I N T M E T H O D S
From birthday cards to wedding invitations, we print everything right here in our own studio! This keeps costs down for you, and it ensures that you get exactly the design you ask from us. We have several different methods for printing, and each one brings another unique way to tell your story in a way that fits who you are!
01. flat (digital) printing
Standard digital printing allows for full-color printing on card stocks, papers and envelopes at a lower cost and quicker turnaround than the other methods described below. It is ideal for watercolor, hand-painted or multicolored aesthetics, photos and beautiful typography. It can be paired with one of the below methods and used for envelope addressing, escort cards, envelope liners, wedding programs or menus.
02. letterpress
Letterpress printing is one of the oldest printing methods that exists and involves the use of antique cast iron presses. Custom inks are positioned into the bed of the press and inked, then paper is then pressed against it to transfer the ink, creating an elegant, tactile effect. It is truly a work of love, as each sheet of paper is hand fed through the press one at a time! The result is a beautiful impression that can be felt! The best results are obtained when using a dark printing on light paper! Given the hand crafted nature of the work, it means that there will be slight variations between your invitation pieces (e.g., color, ink and impression).
03. foil stamping
Foil stamping is similar to Letterpress printing. However, it uses a brass or copper die and foil to create metallic result.
